INFORE opened-up some of its components making them available for testing to the public through the ReachOut platform . The ReachOut project has developed a platform in order to facilitate the evaluation and dissemination of software components and services, connecting them to evaluators. More specifically, part of the Maritime Use Case application and Wayeb, the complex event detection and forecasting engine of INFORE, organised evaluation campaigns via ReachOut, inviting independent evaluators that had access to the ReachOut platform to test the functionalities of the respective components by completing use case scenarios and evaluation questionnaires. Especially for the Maritime Situational Awareness (MSA) Use case of INFORE, the feedback was fruitful, since some of the enchancements suggested by the evaluators were implemented in the next development cycle of the application. With more than 10 evaluators, the MSA application of INFORE was featured in the Success Stories section of the ReachOut platform.
